In April and May 2022, a selected group of S.3 students have participated in a 5-week intensive debating programme. Funded by Language Fund and supported by SCOLAR, it is a programme that aims to enhance participants’ communication and negotiation skills through a British parliamentary-styled debate. During the workshops and debate practices, our students have learned from world-class mentors and from each other. All in all, our students have commented that the programme has been beneficial for their communication skills and structural presentation skills. In August 2022, students would have the chance to participate or spectate in a face-to-face Debate Competition (Annual Chamber Debate), in which the topic will be on world affairs.
